This restaurant has provided consistent service in the more than 20 years I've known it and through several iterations. The cafeteria style service means that you can mix and match dishes easily and get smaller portions. It has also (mostly) helped to reduce wait times. It's still quickest to arrive before 12:30 for lunch.

Located within the centre of Legon campus. Easy to locate with ample parking space. This is a restaurant with eat in and take out services. They offer pastries, local and continental dishes. They also offer catering services for all events. Staff are very welcoming and prompt in service. I will definitely use their services again.

Basement Plus a good place to eat at the University of Ghana. Location is excellent and the staff are generally friendly except one. Hopefully you don't encounter her. The food is also good and I recommend it to you

Basement is a place that attracts a certain kind of clients. Most frequenters are non-students although the food is relatively affordable, for instance a bowl of Fufu goes for ¢20 ($3.7). I hear there's a special discount for the student population.
They have a variety of dishes and I personally enjoy eating their Fufu. Service is great although it gets slower when the restaurant is overwhelmed by the number of people.
