The rooms and bathrooms are nice and neat for a standard hotel. Dokuaa Royal is my place of choice when it comes to finding a temporary stay whenever I visit Accra. However, the poor customer service experience I received over the phone had decreased my interest in staying the place. I called to check for a room Today March 10, 2025 and a lady answered the phone. I asked of room availability and she said yes and started mentioning the prices. She mentioned one that cost GHC 1500, so I paused to ask whether it was a hotel room or an apartment and also the duration for the price. She became angry and stated that I should know that that room is an apartment and gave me a cheek that the GHC 1500 is for a year. I hanged the call immediately because she was impolite. I did not ask of her name but the incident occurred on March 10, 2025 @ 2:59 pm Ghana time.

Awesome professional service at Dokua Royal Hotel, though the road about 50metres to the place isn't very smooth but excellent place to be, I encountered great workers but two memorable and notable ones I will always remember are Irene and Dorcas they made my stay so enjoyable with their friendly and humorous personality, yet Dokua Royal Hotel has an unbeatable rate so I strongly recommend them for everyone.

I booked this for my friend, we were both coming from out of town. The girls at the reception always looked angry, we felt like we were bothering them when we asked for anything and they never followed through with their promises ex: our water heater was broken in the room, they promised a kettle, we asked several times we never received it. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is for management to invest in training your staff in hospitality. If you’re angry at providing services you should not be in that industry. I could write more terrible things that happened but I’ll leave it here.
