Of all the hotels we stayed in Ghana, Accra City was the best. Comfortable bed, good hot water. International electrical outlets, good AC, clean rooms. Great buffet breakfast. A great pool. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is well located close to the art markets. Great spot for international travellers.

I’ve been staying here every three months since 2022, and while the rooms are clean, the layout feels odd. the toilet is in a separate, very small space. I requested vegan meals, yet cheese kept being served on the side which was disappointing. This time, I also noticed the price has increased. On the positive side, the location remains very convenient.

Great facilities that fits a four star hotel standard. Rooms are comfy and cool even without an AC. all the basic things you need in a room as a guest is provided - from iron to vanity kits to dental kits.
Food variety is okay and suits variety of local and continental guests.
There's a little bit about being professional that they need to work on. Yes staff is more professional than your average hotel. But for a four star status, there is more room for improvement.

Rooms: only 2 small bottle of water. This will not be enough for drinking and tea making. Toilet and showers are 2 different rooms. No bidet in toilet.
Service: if you get corner rooms, no internet. Called whole night for repair. But no improvement. Restaurant is not good if you order continental.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Their food is good too with a decent variety of options. I absolutely loved their tuna sandwiches during breakfast. The parking was ample and seamless. My main issue with the hotel is where it's located. Though it's in a strategic center of Accra there's usually traffic right in front of it which can be a bit annoying. Other than that it's ok.
