Honestly,I hardly this type of thing,but for this,I'll say
I've never been to a hospital this disorganized in my life,my mom came sick,we went through the whole procedure of doing the card and everything,we were sent to the laboratory to do test as at 10 am,we stood in the line for over 4 hours,only for the nurse to come around to say they thought everyone was done,so they were just sitting inside
I know they have a lot of workload,but the way they treat the patients is very poor
It's as though there are no supervisors or anything
No form of orderliness
We came at 8 o'clock,as 4 pm,we are still here,we've paid the test fee,for them to give us the results and medication too had become a problem
I won't waste my time there again
If you were the only hospital in the whole of this country,I still wouldn't come here

Has the standard of a district hospital in place. Staff do their best to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare to clients. Services rendered include:
1. 24hr out-patient services for internal medicine and paediatric cases.
2. 24hr Emergency services for disciplines as (Surgery,Obs/Gynae,Internal medicine, Paediatrics)
3. Dental unit runs 8am to 2pm from Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends.
4. Psychiatry/Eye/ENT from Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends.
There is a cafteria at the hospital premise and a canteen few metres from the entrance.
Taxis are available in transporting clients in and out of the hospital.
Environment generally very clean.
Staff are generally friendly, hardworking and lifesavers.

Very wack hospital. I was there with a patient who is involved in an accident. After going through the necessary proceedings then there's no Doctor. After paying the hospital card and consulting fees I was then directed to Room 6. Knocked over an 2 hours. I'm still here waiting for doctor

Fine hospital overal. It was my first encounter with African healthcare.
I have received a good treatment at Achimota Hospital. But unfortunately extremely long waiting time. During my follow up visit there were 2 doctors in one room, so there were also other patients in the same room. I didn't feel comfortable to share my personal information in front of others. Pharmacy staff was a bit grumpy but nurses and doctors were kind and helpful.

Frankly speaking, Achimota Hospital is the worst hospital I have ever been to. I came around 8am as at 4:30 I hadn't been attended to the doctor, customer service was poor, system/internet was poor and bad. Ooh, Ghana. How I wish these issues should be attended to and changed. Imagine coming to the hospital with critical issues and you have to wait so long to see a doctor like how. It so bad
