I recently visited De-Guys Pub in Aburi, and despite some inconsistencies, I'd definitely recommend it for fufu lovers. The environment is okay - nothing spectacular, but it has a cozy feel that makes you want to settle in for a meal. However, the service can be a bit slow and unfriendly at times, which takes away from the overall experience.
The real star of the show is the fufu, which is absolutely delicious. The pounded cassava dough is smooth and well-prepared, and the accompanying soups are flavorful. For around GHS 90 per bowl, it's a great value. If you're craving traditional Ghanaian cuisine, De-Guys Pub is worth a visit.
What sets De-Guys apart is their commitment to serving authentic, homemade-style fufu that's hard to find in other restaurants. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. If you're a fan of fufu, you'll appreciate the effort that goes into preparing each dish.
To improve, De-Guys Pub could focus on training their staff to provide better customer service. Also consider adding more staff on special days (holidays). With a bit more attention to detail and a friendly smile, this place could be a top-rated spot for fufu lovers. As it stands, it's still a great option for those looking for authentic Ghanaian cuisine. Just be patient with the service, and you'll enjoy your meal. With some tweaks, De-Guys Pub could become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. For now, it's a solid choice for fufu enthusiasts.

The fufu was very on point. The music was loud however the customer service was top notch. Would I go there again ? Definitely it's worth the 2hr drive if you ask me 😆

Terrible. The food takes forever to come. They play favouritism with those who look flashy rich. All the hype is all a lie
