This place is one of the heavy hitters when it comes to local food in Accra. There's a reason why there's V8s parked outside anytime you go there. Yes that's where all the big boys come to eat. The food was definitely up to the hype and I liked the traditional setting with the kitchen stools. I only feel the place needs a visual overhaul to look better. The wall outside didn't look exactly great and the covering on the tables also need to be changed and be a bit more eye catching. And oh, the food is affordable compared to most places I've been to in Accra. Definitely recommend

Do not go there and expect the average Chop Bar price for food and drinks. Was there Dec 2022, piece of goat meat was 20 cedis, fish ranges from 40 cedis to 80 cedis. Bowl of fufu was 5 cedis least. Go prepared in your pocket, especially if it's a date.

Great chop bar serving quality fufu with tasty, full bodied soups. There is a wide variety of protein options to choose from including goat, salmon, antelope, grasscutter, snail, etc.
Pascar served me and he did everything to ensure I had the experience I wanted. Explained everything clearly and helped me order the perfect soup.
Excellent food and customer service. If you're in Accra, I highly recommend you visit Heavy Do Chop Bar.

Heavy-Do Chop bar is one of the best chop bars in Accra , Ghana. Before I even share my experiences first and foremost the food there is amazing. I have eaten there twice and never got disappointed . For foreigners reading this. Chop bar is a place where you get locally made Ghanaian food that need a lot of muscles to make haha. But yeah fufu, banku, rice ball , konkonte etc.
Customer service can be a bit challenging here just because if you are there during lunch time from 12pm till 4pm then there are possibilities that there are so many people and the workers are not able to attend to you or you have to find your hard way out to get your food. But immediately you are almost served things get easier and better. Not all the time but yeah it can happen. Workers are nice but because they get so busy during some periods they seem not nice but they are. :)

Just that they need to get repellent for flies which makes it a bit difficult to enjoy the food and the atmosphere.
